In a story that takes you from NYC to Costa Rica to Washington, DC, James must not only find her, but defray a terroristic threat against our nation.
It's packed full with thrills, suspense, and romance, that will have you holding on to your seats.
Can James get the terrorist as well as the woman of his dreams?
Review:
Betty Ann Harris presents a short tale of suspense and intrigue weaved with romantic elements.
The Darkhorse Conspiracy is a likable narrative with a fast moving plot. Perhaps a little too quick when the action arrives, but the length of the novella forces the swift shifting scenes. The story is convincingly written, characters definitely to your liking, but the ending wraps itself almost effortlessly, lacking the fingernail biting one would expect to find in a suspense thriller.
My final verdict: The Darkhouse Conspiracy makes for a fun, but short ride, earning its green ribbon for entertaining and engaging.
